ECVIM-CA) over enkele interessante endocrinologische onderwerpen. Terugkerend thema was hypokali\u00ebmie, een veelvoorkomend probleem bij de kat. Een\u00a0 belangrijke boodschap was dat het achterhalen van de oorzaak van de hypokali\u00ebmie net zo belangrijk is als het behandelen van de hypokali\u00ebmie.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote><p><span lang=\"nl\" xml:lang=\"nl\">Op dat punt is voor veel dierenartsen nog wel wat te winnen: kies niet voor de makkelijke weg van slechts symptoombestrijding, maar kies voor betere diergeneeskunde, gezondere katten en meer tevreden eigenaren.<br \/>\n<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><b><span lang=\"NL\">Wanneer is er sprake van hypokali\u00ebmie?<\/span><\/b><\/h2>\n<p><span lang=\"NL\">Referentiewaarden voor kalium kunnen enigszins verschillen tussen laboratoria.
