Een goede voorbereiding is immers het halve werk. In deel I van deze cursus wordt besproken wat je kunt doen om goed voorbereid te zijn op een operatie en hoe je complicaties zoveel mogelijk kunt voorkomen.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>Bij een paar procent van de operatiepati\u00ebnten ontstaan wondinfecties na de operatie. Soms zijn deze zelfs levensbedreigend!<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Om een wondinfectie te voorkomen is een goede steriliteit in de operatiekamer essentieel. In deel II wordt besproken hoe je kunt zorgen voor een optimale steriliteit. Hierbij wordt de ideale situatie besproken. Niet alle praktijken beschikken over alle ruimtes en materialen die besproken worden in dit artikel. Maar met wat kleine aanpassingen is er meer mogelijk dan je denkt!<\/p>\n<p>Wanneer de operatiewond is gesloten en de steriele handschoenen zijn uitgetrokken, moet de operatiekamer klaargemaakt worden voor de volgende pati\u00ebnt. De gebruikte materialen en de operatiekamer moeten worden opgeruimd, gereinigd en gedesinfecteerd. De volgende operatie moet immers met evenveel zorg en steriliteit kunnen worden uitgevoerd.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Leerdoelen:<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Assisteren bij het voorkomen van problemen die kunnen ontstaan voor, tijdens of na een operatie.<\/li>\n<li>Goede voorbereiding van de operatiekamer<\/li>\n<li>Goede voorbereiding van het operatieteam<\/li>\n<li>Voorbereiden van de pati\u00ebnt in de voorbereidingsruimte<\/li>\n<li>Hoe je complicaties tijdens operatie zoveel mogelijk kunt voorkomen<\/li>\n<li>Voorbereiden en in stand houden optimale steriliteit.<\/li>\n<li>Opruimen en schoonmaken van de operatiekamer<\/li>\n<li>Reinigen en steriliseren van het instrumentarium<\/li>\n<li>Aandachtspunten tijdens de recovery<\/li>\n<li>Nazorg voor de pati\u00ebnt en communicatie met de eigenaar<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Een operatie van A tot Z is een mini cursus bestaande uit drie delen.
